What are the most popular webcam applications?

I was wondering for PC (Vista in this case) what people are using to communicate with others via webcam? I know Vista has Net Meeting but do people really chat on there? Does AIM do some kind of video chat?

While we’re on the subject is there a good program to record video with the web camas welll?
