But for new people, this is a unique genre exactly where the music is motivated by hardcore punk along with weighty metal instrumentation. The heavy guitar distortion and effective punch of the drums and bass guitar is the soul of this genre of metallic.
Some people even phrase this genre as industrial metallic since the theme is based on the common industrial influences and its society. Howling vocals primarily dominate the music. Soilent eco-friendly is one of the well-known sludge bands from Metairie, Louisiana (New Orleans). The bands name is influenced by Harry Harrison’s American science fiction, Soylent Green. The wedding ring also reminds from the famous Napalm Death a British grindcore metal wedding ring.
The band Soilent Green was formed in 1988 with their debut album Pussysoul marketed by well-known Dwell Information. However the subsequent albums were exclusively under the mark of Relapse Records. Metallic Blade Records booked them for 2008 albums. To make the promotion from the new albums, Soilent Eco-friendly has joined Dethklok, God Forbid and Chimaira. At present Ben Falgoust is getting the lead within the microphone. He replaced the foremost vocalist Glenn Rambo who was killed within the Hurricane Katrina (2005). The band had a serious breakup within their journey. Previous bassist Scott Williams was accidentally murdered on 26 April, 2004, by his roommate.
Soilent Green has been proving their presence with their great hits in the metallic scenario.Rolling Stone listed them amongst the best 25 influential metallic bands from the world. Additionally they featured for that first episode of season 4 Squidbillies (2009), (in the Adult Swim display episode 41), with the title called “Lerm”. In this show they highlighted the escape with their marvelous metallic style and shook the world in an influential manner.
