I am not sure which microphone to choose. I am planning on using the microphone for podcasting, spoken word and interviews. I was thinking of the Shure Beta 58a or Shure SM58 or the Sony ECM- MS907, but I am not sure.

Given the type of application you have there is no need to go with anything above the SM-58.
