However, Some municipal systems will issue PUBLIC IPs to each connection, most don&#039;t but some do. If that is the case then you don&#039;t have any problem as you have a WAN IP!

So the answer is, it all depends on the type of IP issued by the &quot;municipal system&quot;.  If you are connected to them just check and see what type of IP you have, if its in the &quot;Private&quot; ranges 10.x.x.x 172.16.x.x or 192.168.x.x then you have to get the ports open.  If it is a public IP (one not in the private ranges) you can indeed get public access.
