Online radio, podcasting, music archive etc.

i am new to computer programming, just worndering if they are some good podcast out there that teaches and/or talk abouth the programing industry for begginers. also podcasting abouth visual basic

I have recording eqiupment on my pc. is there anyway where i can be playing live online? i think it is called podcasting or something??
