In “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”, people are replaced by mindless, sheepish, extraterrestrial “pods”. A giant pod (like a pea pod) would be layed down next to a human and it would take his or her form and replace him or her.

I can’t help but wonder if iPod means “I Pod” or “I am a Pod”? Think about it. There are MP3 players out there that are less expensive and have more features than an iPod but people keep buying “I Pod” to let others know that they are conforming.

And this whole “podcasting” thing. It’s one gigantic mechanism for disseminating mind control and converting people into being “Pods”.

Resist I say RESIST!
